This release introduces significant performance improvements in dependency resolution and installation, enhances the accuracy of `pnpm audit` reports, and refines the behavior of `packageImportMethod` and `pnpm init`.

pnpm v12 introduces robust support for managing and executing other package managers (npm, Yarn, Bun) within projects and via `pnpm dlx`. It also significantly improves Node.js runtime resolution speed and optimizes `pnpm install` performance with `pnprServer`.

This release focuses heavily on stability and robustness by eliminating numerous panic and unwrap callsites across the codebase, particularly related to file system operations, graph traversal, and various internal modules. Several race conditions related to directory restoration and symlinks were also addressed.
