st.cache_data

This release introduces lazy loading for st.dataframe, an icon parameter for st.metric, and background refresh for st.cache_data and st.cache_resource. It also includes several bug fixes and improvements to existing widgets.

This release addresses several bugs in Streamlit, improving the rendering of dataframes with many columns, file uploads with special characters, session state preservation, cache invalidation, and markdown rendering with LaTeX.

This release introduces numerous layout and theming enhancements, adds many new configuration options, and fixes a wide range of bugs, while removing the stretch height API which requires migration of existing vertical layouts.
